I have a fascination for globes, not snow globes but the spherical Earth models. My first ever globe was this:
It was actually a pencil sharpener but the sharpening part at the bottom just came off so it became a globe. I had this when I was in primary school, don't remember which year though.
Then, I bought my second globe in Hong Kong, eleven years old.
It's a crystal globe, see through and all. Haha~ You can see the dust on it.
Recently, I bought another one. It was priced at S$108 but I managed to haggle it to a S$90, yay for me.
Beautiful, right? *laughs* I went to the temple at Bugis to pray and my parents got stuck in a Feng Shui store. I think we were there for about an hour or so, I was so bored that I might have bought this on impulse. Just to feel excited about buying something, you know the feeling.
It just gets bigger
When I have enough money, I'm going to buy a huge one, not for the table but floor, and place it in the middle of the room. Hah~ That would be nice...
