Usually it's Taylor or what... So ya, I was searching for nice songs to place in my playlist and I came across Shougen. The intro = NICE XD

SID | Shougen (Testimony)
One drop of lies Upon eyelids squeezed shut

Something I have Always Softly Hid

I hate The afterimages When we're embracing
Overlapped warmth Sew it together
Towards the rapids A lovers' suicide Not too bad, is it
Subtly replace Wild joy with A murder weapon
...do it
The day on which I chose my dearest That was That was A fine sunny morning
If the heavens Can't judge I'd rather, in this manner Head for the dusk
Until your pulse Grows distant Look at me Closely Don't you forget
They can't size us up With things like a resounding Wooden hammer
The day on which I chose my dearest That was That was A fine sunny morning
Not you Not even you It was I Who was chosen by that morning

The lyrics to Shougen are inspired by a Japanese movie, "Ai no Rukeichi", which is based on a hit novel of the same name by the (in)famous Watanabe Junichi. In this song, the female narrator was in an extramarital affair, which ended with her killing her lover in an extreme expression of love. She was then apprenhended by the law and tried as a murderer.
♪
I hate The afterimages When we're embracing
"Embracing" here is euphemism for sex. The afterimages are of her husband.
♪
Overlapped warmth Sew it together
Just imagery of one body on top of another ("overlapped warmth") during sex ("sew it together").
♪
Subtly replace Wild joy with A deadly weapon
Wordplay from Mao here; both "wild joy / ecstacy (i.e. euphemism for orgasm)" and "deadly weapon" are pronounced as "kyouki" in Japanese.
♪
The day on which I chose my dearest
More wordplay. The kanji (最愛) for "dearest" is translated more frequently into "beloved", but I settled for "dearest" because "beloved" doesn't fully convey the underlying implication of "you're the one I love the most". A very literal translation would be "most loved". However, this kanji has double connotations in this case, because 最 also carries a feeling of extremity, of ultimates. Therefore, when the narrator chose her "dearest", she also chose an extreme form of love - killing him with her own hands out of love. Judging by the movie that inspired these lyrics, I'm also pretty certain that her lover wanted her to do it, so it was actually a sort of mutual exchange, as twisted as it may be.
♪
If the heavens Can't judge I'd rather, in this manner Head for the dusk
It should be noted that their relationship is socially unacceptable in every way (extramarital affair followed by what the world sees as nothing but murder). In other words, if the all-knowing heavens know of the true form of their relationship, but can't intervene, she'd rather take matters into her own hands.
♪
Until your pulse Grows distant Look at me Closely Don't you forget
"Closely" = literally "one by one" in the Japanese lyrics; she's asking him to look at each and every feature of herself and commit it to his memory.
♪
They can't size us up With things like a resounding Wooden hammer
The wooden hammer here refers to a
court hammer. Basically, this line shows her defiance despite being tried in court for murder. She's unrepentant because she knows she did not kill him out of malice. The world and the law sees her as nothing but a murderer, but even if they can sentence her for the act, they can't understand or pass judgement on the love between them using those standards.
♪
Not you Not even you It was I Who was chosen by the morning
Pretty straightforward, he's dead by morning, while she's the one who has to live on and face the aftermath of their pact.
