I was off the globe and watching from afar but Pearl's blog about Taylor prodded or maybe kinda "provoked" me into writing an entry about Taylor's VMA performance.

A LOT of people said that Taylor NEEDS to get over things that happened a year ago and that Kanye already got what he deserves blah blah blah...

But if you were to listen to her lyrics closely, it is NOT about her not forgiving Kanye for what he did, but the contrary actually. (what's with the so many "not"s?! @__@)
Taylor HAD forgiven him and wrote a song for Kanye to encourage him to be who he is and start afresh. This song is also to tell people to not hate Kanye for what he did and that he is still an innocent.

I think maybe Taylor is TOO famous ~~or infamous~~ for her boyfriend break up songs that people actually misunderstood that she hasn't gotten over the mike snatching incident last year.

The VMA this year wasn't her best performance BUT she wasn't all out of tune, her voice just sounded strained. T^T

I love the chorus, it's really nice. At LEAST she didn't write a hate song about Kanye. I don't think she hates him but actually kinda respects him for being fearless and jumping on the stage to get the mike for her to voice out his beliefs. =D

Me like to thank Pearl for "forcing" me to write a post...HAHA! XD I wouldn't have written anything — for who knows how long — if I didn't read her post~
